💡 FAQ
Why are nodes unavailable?
- Due to protocol characteristics, the device system time must be within 2 minutes of the local standard time.
- If the time difference is too large, subscription updates, node connections, or authentication may fail. We recommend enabling automatic date, time, and time zone settings.
What do Rule, Global, Direct, and Unchanged mean?
- In the upper-right Mode menu of the Clash Meta for Android Proxies page, there are 4 different options.
- Direct: After selecting this option, Clash Meta for Android will not use the proxy in any scenario. This has the same effect as closing Clash Meta for Android, so there is usually no need to use this setting.
- Global: After selecting this option, Clash Meta for Android stops using built-in rules and all traffic uses the proxy. Use this setting carefully.
- Rule: After selecting this option, Clash Meta for Android uses built-in rules to automatically determine whether your current usage scenario needs a proxy. This setting is recommended.
- Unchanged: After selecting this option, Clash Meta for Android runs in rule proxy mode. This setting is recommended.
How do I update subscription nodes in Clash Meta for Android?
- Nodes are updated from time to time. If they are not updated promptly, the service may become unavailable. Updating the subscription server also updates the nodes.
- The Profiles page will show the FLAREIX subscription profile. Tap the update button in the upper-right corner. After a moment, when you see "Recent", the subscription nodes have been updated.

How do I check whether a node is available?
- On the Proxies page, tap the lightning icon in the upper-right corner to see node latency values appear one after another.
- Nodes that show latency numbers can be used. You can tap the lightning icon multiple times for a more accurate node latency test.
